when would i be able to see my LORs in MyEras ? not yet ???

After y'all employ to a program, become to adts, select any plan you have assigned an lor to, then encounter the condition for each document. Information technology may say either document not upoaded to eras, or waiting for program to download, or downloaded by plan at this fourth dimension and date.

holyman how long does information technology take later on you have applied for eras to upload ur LOR photo and transcript. I applied last dark.

do they work during the weekend? NO
I however revise my applications, not submitted yet.

It may take 24 hours for them, after you lot apply, to upload the documents. Sometimes they can take more than fourth dimension than that.
According to OASIS
"Subsequently you accept logged on at MyERAS and established your account, the Token is of no further apply. Each ERAS applicant is issued only one Token. Once a Token has been issued, it cannot be replaced by a new one.
- On September ii you may transmit your application to your selected programs
- On September 3 we will start transmitting documents that have been scanned already and that you accept assigned
- On September 4 you lot tin can run into the progress of your application via ADTS at world wide web.aamc.org/eras "

Robin apply early on, acc to digidoc website. eras also treats us on start come first footing, ones who utilise early on, will have their dr. uploaded transmitted early, will be on list of programs earlier than others. Its especially true for older grad like me.
I am non commonly this pessimistic merely during the past few weeks at an observership, the kind of FMGs i met, they fabricated me real nervous. All have atleast 1 99, other score is besides in high 90s, cs passed, grad 2006 or 2007 or even students in their internship year, doing EXternships in American hospitals

To tell u the truth, this experience changed my whole strategy for this friction match. I had to let go of advanced neuro programs so that i could apply to as many IM every bit possible...at first i was existence picky but after knowing my competition, i practical everywhere.

dear holy human i havent yet applied because my step ane score is likely to be updated this wednesday. likewise i have my cs on this wed. so i had decided on thursday as the d 24-hour interval for applying.
but in myeras i am non yet able to see my lors in the documents tab...they were received by ecfmg nigh iii weeks back and am sure they would have been scanned by at present.
too i have not still submitted the CAF i am nevertheless not sure about a few things in CAF so is there a problem if i submit it only earlier i apply or i should submit it beforehand ? is that the reason why i am not able to see my LORs yet ?
what is that about releasing the usmle transcript ? do we accept to do that beforehand or nosotros can do that while applying ?
i am worried and confused. and to top information technology all equally i already mentioned i accept my cs in two days time.
whatever help volition be highly appreciated.

I will apply on 5th Sep.
My LORs are not scanned even so. They received my package on 24th Aug merely today they are scanning documents received on 22nd Aug.

hey robn, how can u find out that the lors received on so & so date are being scanned & which have been scanned....I sent my 1st lor in the start of aug just remaining went in the 3rd week of august merely still on the adts after i applied, it says the lors are non uploaded nevertheless....does this mean they haven't been scanned yet?

find out that the lors received --> go to OASIS, then ERAS servives, then veryfy received documents.
date are being scanned--> get to ECFMG, then ERAS

lor not uploaded all the same? ==> 2-3 days after you practical to program, it will say uploaded, please come across in usmleforum.com, people tell about this.

If yous letter of the alphabet has already been scanned, they may take up to 24 hrs to upload it after you have assigned it to a plan.

it's been 4 days now since spet 1st when i applied but my lor's still non uploaded even so/....what does it men guys?....am very nervous

Sorry for these questions just I'g new to the application process.
Exercise we have to transport in our LORs through regular mail or can we scan them ourselves and upload them into the system?
I have splendid but old LORs from med schoolhouse rotations (USCE), just it has been a few years and I don't know if the attendings remember me. Should I contact them to inform them that I programme on using their LOR?
Does the LOR accept to be contempo or is information technology ok if its from a couple years agone?
If I'm applying to IM or FM, which would be amend to include: A STRONG LOR from Dermatology, or a then-so LOR from Geriatrics.
Is it too belatedly to ask attendings who i worked with a long time ago for LORs now?

yous volition have to transport in lors to them from regular or express mail, yous cannot scan and ship or upload them.
I dont think that you need to remind the consultants well-nigh their lor.
I think couple of years old lor will exist ok(esp if they are for electives) simply not older than that.
I would say use strong lor from dermatology.

Another question... sorry, simply this whole application procedure seems so complicated for some reason!
-Nether the LOR office, there is a office which says print embrace letter...
Practice I have to send my one-time LORs to my attendings AGAIN so they can do it the fashion ECFMG wants it with the signature in Blueish INK and the office that says I waive to meet this letter and all that other nonsense??? OR tin I only send in my sometime LORs???
How exercise I find the address to ship it in?
WHY is this whole affair SO damn complicated!?!!?
